This was it. Denver's unstoppable hit album. Production, songwriting, and Denver'southward performing all merged together to class that magical mix of artistic expression and time and place. It'due south a difficult album to fault. Songs are excellent, including a No1 striking and a striking album to become with it. I don't think he ever hit these heights of quality in production and textile again in one album but it doesn't accept abroad from the fact this is a genuinely fine album. My vinyl copy was an original UK pressing which was okay but suffered ticks and noises that detracted sometimes. The original CD seemed lifeless to me but at least clean just, by all accounts, the Speaker'southward Corner edition is something special. I have the CD from the RCA Drove Boxset as well and information technology does sound a scrap brighter and more 'present'.

At that place is a Taiwan 'unofficial' pressing on black vinyl with a cherry-red label (First Record FL-2476 STEREO). It plays admirably with very lilliputian surface noise. The cover, a copy of RCA'south, is printed on paper and is wrapped in cellophane.
